Dr. Avvaru Satya kiran is a Senior ENT Head & Neck Consultant; Chief Cochlear Implant & Lateral Skull Base Surgeon at Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad, Telangana. He is the first in India to have a certified Fellowship training for 2 years in Implant Otology from a prestigious institution, Christian Medical College, Vellore. He also has 14 meritorious awards including 6 gold medals in the field of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) through his career with various presentations and publications at Regional, National & International level. Has been the organise, operating surgical faculty (in-house & guest) in various Regional & National Live Surgical Workshops. He is the author of Handbook on Dissection Manual for Basic & Advanced Cochlear Implantation.
